Not sure, i guess:
"Someone get surrender in what he/she was doing with hard efforts. For example: Learner X who have been repeating NAMCOL for about 7 years but she never pass until she drop out by herself". Okwa gandja omukadhona nee nga.
Sorry for repliying in English cos i find it clear than explaining in OSHIWAMBO.

ADDITIONAL why they refer to "OMUKADHONA"
You know it has been a culture almost all over the world that women are very precious and very protected especially by men. Like in Oshiwambo culture, my father and mom wont send my sister (no matter she is ma elder sister) in darkness to see what the dog is barking about. Cos am a man, i must go there to see. U know it might be that a dog is barking to something dangerous (lion, omamwanka nomangungule) then i must face that danger. It would be so cowardice for my sister to be eaten up while me surviving with shrinken balls kosindo yaho nanyoko.
Again, who will be a man to give his girlfriend/wife away to secure his life......maybe cos he has no single other way and totallily surrender. It will be so hard to see your GF going away in hands of some makwelekwele and so on. Unless u are castrated perhaps.
Another example is: Is not easy to sell a cow beside an ox. Not even easy to slaughter it. Once u did that, is because u have no other means.
