For the years that i have been growing up (though not many), i have been seeing how people, especially family members or friends, people that we trust most and associate with influence our lives. Some people tend not to follow their dreams just because other people are saying things against that dream or others lost their professions simply because some other people are not buying the idea of seeing such person in such profession. Some people have lost their relationship, being gal/boyfriends relationship or marriage, simply because others are saying things against their partners.
All i am saying is that, it is 2010 and it is high time for us to stand on our own two feets, individually. People should learn to follow their hearts and not what others might say. People always have different contemplates that can ruin one's happiness. Wether you are in a relationship and others are not happy with it, send them to hell, it is your decision and if you are happy, other's opinions dont matter that greatly. If you are dating a person and your friends are saying that your man/woman is ugly or poor, just walk away and after all a good friend will support you in all ways. If your family members are not happy with it, give them options, either they support you or they lose you....it is your own life and you are entitled to making your own decisions that no one cannot disagree with, offcourse unless you are a minor.
I am not saying people should not listen to other's advices but i am tired how people's lives are being messed up. A jealous person wont allow you to accomplish anything in life, and that can be a family member or a friend. remember that someone who laugh with you everyday, can be your horrible enemy and i am sure others will agree with me. We need to stand up and realize what is good for us, things that are good to us - might be bad to others. Someone's ex can be another person's precious diamond.

Jealousy is destroying dreams and others happiness
i have a fake friend who tells me he's my homey and all that
but i just found out he spent 2 weeks calling and smsing my
girl, telling her to leave me coz im far, even telling lies that
almost made us break up, after telling such lies he contacts me
saying im his fella, i shouldnt feel insecure coz my girl loves me alot
and she cant go anywhere. but after talking to me he goes back
to the girl to back and tell lies so that she'll dump me
people watch out, never trust a friend unless you have
put him on several tests for years

Wow thats true kao.My family made me choose between them and my partner and you know what? Sooner or later they will be begging 4 ma 4gvnss coz i will be a successful someone soon.I believed that if you once suffer in life, God will never leave you on your own he will be beside you. so if you fall, she will send you an angel that will pull up and offer you a shoulder to cry on!!!!!!!!

I agree with you 100% there sis Dai, good advice indeed. I can only emphases on the sreaning of says or talks by others. Its up to an individual to screen very everything you heard about your partner and make sure you got it the right way and its for your benefit, then you take action/s.

Thanks for your responses guys. This issue is very serious. I just dont like seeing people interfers with others decisions. I have realized that even your own siblings can turn against you. In this world, i have learned that an outsider can be a good friend than a member of your own family. If i had to choose between my partner and my family............this is funny, i would rather not have close contact with my family, unless they will really give me good reasons why i should not! There is a gap in a person's life that cannot be filled by family members and that is when you are in love, when you need a soul partner, a companion! For christ sake, if they dont want you to be with the partner that you have chosen, are they going to get you one, and are they going to make you fall in love with that person.....hell!
Lets just differentiate between good people and snakes, and we should live our lives the way we want to....as long as we dont exceed our limits in life and to be extra cautious....cos even our loved ones can be snakes too!

You know I developed a technique against people that think negatively towards me. I call it "Can't tell me Nothing Attitude". I fight for what I want and I don't need people opinion, kinda weird but thats how I do it, I just don't see value in whatever a person is saying simply because it could be a hazard to my confidence.
