why the university of namibia (unam) ranked no 60 in top 100 university in africa and the polytechnic of namibia ranked no 27? does it have to do with politics? ..from: http://www.4icu.org/topAfrica/

According to what i know, the university is much more broader than any other tertiary institution in namibia, therefore it turns out that it does not satisfy every inividual person's needs so peeps end up failing, givin' the insitution a very bad image...On top of that, the polytech consists of very few students and can cover every person's need that's why everything done there is quite efficient and effective. Take for example the issue of loans of the Govt?..polytech students receive theirs as soon as they apply for them, while unam students take ages...This is because unam has too many sub-institution diving from it (main campus), and which consist of a number of students that also need loans and they all have to get them at the same time...
