we hav socca playrs here but the problem is the lack of management en commitment.we are not serious wiht the trainings,we lack basics that other countries use in socca.the thing is that we are capable of being successfull like other countries in terms of socca, but the problem s that we are not serious with socca, players are in here. for example, just take muna katupose to england and see his performance.acctually u can compare him with cristiano ronaldo,no doubts.u know when u are in the game where ur teammates are not serious wth the game, so u tend also appear not to be douin poorely, wete.
the other thing is money.u know here in our country players are being paid not that good,so thers no way playrs can b focusd on socca while they geting that little.all that need to b done is nothing other than starting from the primary foundation wher socca academies must be introduced throughout the country at large,so small boyz will mke a dfferenc. in that way playrs wl b commited

I personal like and willingly to support the Namibian Sport (mostly soccer) and I am a KK palace and BA fan. However, to compare it with intrnational soccer (EPL)in particular) it is very unfair at this moment, because our league is not full profesional yet and even the infrastracture are not at he standard. e.g. the playing fields or even broadcasting is not done live for the league not to mention even some of the National team matches. so one would not except people to get interested. Hard work is needed here from NFA and GRN.

I tend to agree woth mshasho.com, the Namibian soccer is just a thing like a school tournament or worse than that. The top managers in NFA and all related organizations need people with socca at heart and not for self enrichment. We need changes, no wonder the consortium sponsors sometimes lost interest in giving money to them. No, I rather watch EPL.

The think is, for everything to run smoothly like the EPL and so on, somtimes is not only the sponsorship that make it work, we as soccer lovers we don't attend soccer matches.
By attending a soccer match it also boost our local teams financialy wether the team loose or Win just be a loyal supporter , it's a game of football.
When our local team plays sometimes the attandance is only 50 -70 people which very little. and tickets to those games are only N$10- N$20 which we spend mostly on beer.
People com on lets be pround of our game its the only way we can make it better, by shying away it doesn't improve anything! English people are pround of their EPL.

Yes, it is really bad that we, Namibians, do not give moral support to our soccer, especially to Brave Warriors. One would conclude that it because they lose too frequently. The NPL games also look so boring in comparison with English Premier League, Bundesliga, Spanish League, etc. However I don't blame the players; I blame NFA and the Government. They don't invest in sport. Those in NFA seem just to be there for the sake of their salaries and do little if nothing at all in professionalizing soccer. The GRN is also so reluctant to pump money into soccer. The management of NFA finance is also discouraging the GRN to invest in Soccer.
We have quality and good players in the country, but without support and seriousness by the GRN and NFA, they are unlikely to prosper.
But Soccer players need incentives in order to excel and to be serious. The salary of soccer players should be made competitive. The soccer player will not try to improve his/her skills if there are no incentives. Soccer academies to be build to train the “would – be” Brave Warriors.
Unless NFA and the GRN do something to improve the standard of our soccer, Namibian soccer will remain boring and the Brave Warriors will always remain losers (ooSimon yaMarombo, kehe siku oyo ngaa taya dhengwa).

Wow....
Guys m quite intrigued by all the response to the new premiership.
I will only be able to answer after this weekend, coz i still want to c how people will attend the weekend's games.
The first weekend was absolutely great
On the other thing, if you guys check the informante on the sports section, there is a question that is there about the free-kick taker in the world.
Can u kindly respond to that and then we will talk.
Watch this space on Wednesday after taking stock of this weekend's games.
