I was helping a couple of people yesterday, regarding arranging their VISA & accommodation once they land in London & it occured to me that there are a lot of people who come over alone & it must be pretty hard getting started. We're thinking of offering a service for Namibians (& even South Africans) wanting to come to London, where we help you with all the details of how & where to get your VISA & what you'll need. Also, we'll help you find accommodation, and make sure you're not paying above your desired budget and also will meet you at the airport & give you a quick once over on how London travel works, have your travel card (which works out cheaper) ready for you, so your first London transport experience on the busses & tubes isn't as scary, & will show you how to get to your new home.

Once you're here, we'll help you submit your CV & also will show you the most effective template used here & assist you in writing it. Work is NOT guaranteed before you arrive in the UK, we'll discuss the best budget for you before you leave home, so you have enough with you. Oh & could even arrange a sim card for you before you depart, so you can leave your family & friends with your new number.

Doing all this will cost you a nominal fee, mostly just to cover our own costs of assisting you. If you're interested, contact us on our site www.stooly.com or our forum www.stooly.com/forum

Just so you know, I came over to London & know how hard it is for people in the beginning, especially if you don't know anyone. I've helped a lot of people, mostly friends & family come over already & have recently started assisting people I do not know as well. So if you'd like to take advantage of the wonders of London, let us know!

Very good idea.
Congratulations.
Including if , as me , we are not in need of a visa to stay or work in UK , will be nice a forum , a meeting place,
maybe a starting point for a SOCIAL CLUB of Namibian, South African, Mozambique, etc etc citizens with resi-
dence in Uk England. There are between us , students, workers ,doctors, and business people, etc etc.
So there is room for a different social club , and a way to promote social , economical and tourism in southern
africa countries.
I'm in that one without reserves.
Congratulations again, and let's go for more

GOOD AFTERNOON STOLLY
I'm now register in your forum.
I hope the idea of a Social Clube of Southern Africa peoples in Uk , and friends , will go ahead.
I myself , I born in Mozambique ( official I'm portuguse by doc because I born when Mozambique was a
portuguese colony) I'm "white european" veri african, since about 8 yrs ago that i start to be connected
with NAMIBIA, where I decided to live there for good on my retirindg dais, and now often as a hollidays,
and building up step by step a Eco Tourism Project in UUKUALUDI near Tsandi, next to the people that
I got as " my people" , people that received me and my wife as the "new wambo white bush man ".
So, when I'm in UK I'm alklways tryng to promote tourism in NAMIBIA, and including inviting people
to invest in partnership with namibiasn citizens in Namibia , in special in the areas that required to be
know, The north of Namibia , is next to unknow for the european people. But, is the best area, the most
pure people.
So, why not a Social Clube that at least 3 in 3 months organise a dinner and dance , a social and cultural
event capable to congregate all of us, famillies, and friends, not only a friendship opportunuty, but a way
to get know our southern african regions, the economic possibilities, etc etc.? What about a Saturday night event 3 in 3 months, in central London, for to be more easy to every one, and with the cooperation of the High Commissions of NAMIBIA, South Africa, Mozambique, etc etc etc
I'll be there any time, let us know by email.
Second - as some of us are in business also , we cam , we must as obligation to be solidaires with our
people, we can and we must help our communities.

Dear Friend
I learn since kid to be polite.
Yes I'm in business , yes I'm e Green Socialist , yes since 1967/1968 that I'm in anti racism movement
in europe, and yes, as a person with long years in ecology/environment issues i decided to put my know-
ledge, my contacts of years and years, my expertise in a new business adventture - ECO TOURISM and
in Namibia. I'm sureb that you you know that eco tourism is not "one winer" but involve all community ,
for to be real , profitable, and above all promote economic and social the community.
Yes, I'm in business in Uk , and why not? I can do business with respect for the dignity of all that work
with me , and in same time to be a Socialist from the Christian background ( I'm not marxista leninist, etc),
and as a christian i must be a voice again st all forms of racism.
Any more questions

I did not take your comments as ofense.
In fact , I only don't reply to debates /forums with no cultural interest.
Unfortunately my interest in music finish with BOB MARLEY ,as you could understand I'm from the Beatles generation. Yes, we can debate the influence of BEATLES in May68 in France and the mouvement against
apartheid/racism ( not only in South Africa, but all Europe/America). We can debate Bob Marley in the
movement for peace and iguality.
Now, Candy , I learn on my life first to be polite, second to be young "and free mind", never saty quite
against the injustices. Did I lost , or did I not achive more ( economical) on my life? I'm sure YES. But
I'm happy between the Wambo Namibia People, and with time I let you know, more, about my connection
to the namibiam people.
Now , I don't debate sexy.drougs.etc etc.
Because I'm christian and eco-socialist
your new friend

Uk is obviously on the mention here..but there are so many southern africans elsewhere i Europe that face harsh realities everyday..maybe i can set up ideas from where iam now..but it seems like a hopless plot since according to my knowledge there are close to zero Nams here..infact i've asked around and brought the issue to the university database..but still no luck..

you say Namibian people but only emphasis on the Oshiwambo speaking people..Sir please tell me where the logic is in all this..there are so many segregational phrases you used..for instance: "The north of Namibia , is next to unknow for the european people. But, is the best area, the most pure people"..So uuuumh if you belief firmly in equity and racial harmony for all where does that fit in..Dont you think you were lacking a part in your findings..Obviously your opinion is yours..but because my country is racially and ethnically bold it is but accurate to say that we are all a unified people..Western ideoligists like yourself have for centuries overstretched themselves of being peace makers but yet add fuel to fire..??

Good Morning
I accept my fault.
Is true that I know much better the north than the south , is true that I know much better the people from the north
than the other cultures. But did'nt pass on my mind any discrimination.
All and everyone is importante, regardless of colour of skin , tribe issues, religion or gender.
So , about the Social Club. As I can understand the Site Forum is in London, I'm also close from London, and
I'm sure that will be ( at least I hope) a open metting door, for all from Southern African , and for all that con-
sider thenselves ,as me, a friend of that region. Of course that I'm "for"Namibia, and I'll try to help to to promote
tourism and business in Namibia, and if as result one only job will be creat in Namibia, I think that will be
a good thing from that Social Clube. What I say is not original in UK/LONDON.
Citizens of Ghana, Nigeria, etc in UK are doing the same, with activites open to the british/european society, and
in the same time as building a friendship are promoting Ghana, Nigeria, etc etc.
Why not the namibians and the friends of Namibia?
Let's go work together .

Godd Morning
On my best knowledge, there are a few in Bracknell and I think in Reading too.
So with a few in London, and the help of the Namibia High Commission , I think that there is "room" for
start.
But, I think that a Social Club project could or must involve all countries of Southern Africa.
I'm not sure if there are namibian citizens in Portugal. Can be the double citizens angolan/namibian born,
now portuguese citizens too.

Obs: could you let me know, please, where are you Candy? Namibia , Uk, Portugal?????
