Zambia and Angola r plying one of the most attractive, creative and rewarding soccer, yet namibia is also part of SADC and when we r really happy or have been productive is when we drew against teams we should have won. it's high time that we qualify for the African Cup of nation and strive to reach the final!

The team selection, the tactic, and the perfomace does not warrant us to go to stadiums and watch the Grave Warrios!
Other countries are fighting 4 home grown coaches, peoples who have the courage and the nation's interest at heart!
2014 is beconing in Brazil,do we have the coach that can take us to Brazil? or Will we ever have a coach to tbring the smiles back on our faces?

I am of the opinion that, we need a local coach who knows our football. I mean Namibian football. The best team that namibia ever had was that of Rusten Mogane, with the likes of Kanalelo, Bimbo Tjihero, Ouseb, Hindjou, Manetti, shivute, china uutoni, geros urichob, lolo, nauseb, etc. The only time that our team tried to match the mogane team was during dat time of the late bamfuchile. This is why i think we should get a local coach from de class of 98. Our team should also be a true reflection of our country and not just khomas region and erongo. The coaches should scout for talents in all the 13 regions, by arranging matches with regional teams. Muinjo must go, so as to allow new ideas in the running of our team.

The grave warriors did it again, they lost by 3:1 against Gambia,.... Its time the coach leaves, we need a team thats is inclusive of all the best Namibian players from all the 13 regions, not only those from the khomas and erongo mountains. We want the best players from Omusati, Ohangwena, Oshikoto, Kunene, Oshana, Kavango, Caprivi, Omaheke, Karas, Hardap, Khomas, Otjozonjjupa, and Erongo and not only these khomasdal boys who can not bring the desired results home.

Is this the best that Namibia has to offer on the world stage:
Goalkeepers: Virgil Vries and Athiel Mbaha.
Defenders: Hartman Toromba, Richard Gariseb, Steven Goagab, Oliver Risser, Jamunuvandu Ngatjizeko and Gottlieb Nakuta.
Midfielders: Ninja Karongee, Collin Benjamin, Quinton Jacobs, Tangeni Shipahu, Sydney Plaatjies, Edward Asino and Alfred Ndyenge.
Strikers: Henrico Botes, Wilko Risser and Rudolf Bester.

We need a serious reformation, if we are to live up to the name BRAVE WARRIORS.

Seriously otherwise, the name of the team should be changed. How come 20 years after independence, we have never had players from other regions playing in the national team? From Caprivi region for example, 20 years after independence only Agenda Matongo and Kayo have been called up to do service for the national team. And we all on the bench. Only a few really, have played in this team from the northern regions. Is Afrikaans a prerequisite or what?

Now if you are telling me that only players from the central regions are good enough, then the entire management of the NFA must be fired, since they are not doing any job, to develop soccer in the entire country.

Gambia defeat Namibia in Gp F of Nations Cup qualifiers

Risser being challenged by two Gambian defenders in the Banjul game
Gambia started their 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign on a promising note after beating Namibia 3-1 in Banjul on Saturday.
The Scorpions raced into a 3-0 lead with goals from Sainey Nyassi, Momodou Ceesay and Ousman Jallow.
Wilko Risser got the consolation for the Brave Warriors with a header in the 89th minute in the Group F game.
Gambia are top of the group with three points as opponents Burkina Faso are not in action this weekend.
This follows the withdrawal of Mauritania from the qualifiers, which means the group is now left with three teams.
The Scorpions were determined to make home advantage count for them and when Aziz Nyang sent it a cross from the right it found an unmarked Nyassi, who made no mistake by heading in at the far post on ten minutes.
Three minutes later Ceesay doubled the home side's lead after profiting from a poor clearance by Hartman Toromba to score from close range.
Another defensive slip up by the Namibians in their penalty area before the break allowed Jallow to steal in to make it 3-0 and send the home fans into ecstasy.
Risser headed in Edward Asino's cross from the right with only a minute remaining but was it too late from them to stage a late comeback.
Gambia will play against Burkina Faso in their next game in October.
The Scorpions are seeking to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time.

I have an idea. Burry all those that are in the team GRAVE WARRIORS and create fresh BRAVE WARRIORS.

Other countries have fired their coaches, bcause they haven't delivered at all. We r still sitting with ours,n yet the results are worrisome. INGAHARE, we need a coach not a former player. Look at Dunga of Brazil, Diego of Argentina! two former great footballers yet they failed to deliver! Alex Feg, Mouri were not great footballers yet they are great coaches! We neeeeed a coach, not a former footballer. I also agree with u when u say Muinjo must go, as so far he has not delivered!

Bobby Samaria, has been doing good as a coach on club level. Hindjou is currently coaching eleven arrows. i believe these guys can bring the much needed results.
