In Africa wars, disease and tribalism are the result of selfish ADULTS. nowhere have I seen a 5 year old in a TANK or FIGHTER JET bombing civilians. So are we to obey adults? I was watching Dr Mulongeni's one on one where he questioned Kazenambo for not listening to his elders in SWAPO.
Are we supposed to respect and obey adults just because they are adults? Are we to respect hitler, stalin, idi amin because they were elders? The war in iraq, imperialism, spread of AIDS happened because of adults.
AFRICA is oppressed because of the OBEY ADULTS, KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT cultural laws. We are taught to obey adults rather than respect and obey laws and rules which prevent us from harming others. The holocaust and RWANDAN genocides happened because the youth were forced and brainwashed to believe that obedience to elders is important rather than obedience to the rule of LAW which protects life and dignity.
In this country, if you critisize an adult, you are called an unruly child. we need to start swallwing our EGOs and start listening to people's views!!!!
