EDUCATION SYSTEM TO PRODUCE SLAVES!!!!

Anyone who believes our education system is meant to produce doctors, engineers and scientists needs to think again.
One of the first things some of our traitorous leaders, parents and imperialists and Neo-colonialist did was to shove the SLAVE PRODUCING CAN¦MBRIDGE SYSTEM down our throats.

1) This education system does not produce inventors and manufacturers. Rather teaches us to be slaves. You dont produce mechanical engineers by forcing mechanical students to sit for the whole day in class at UNAM - POLY memorizing a whole bunch of info they wont put to use anywhere. You produce mechanical engineers by taking them to car mechanic garages and explain to them the different parts of the engine and what determines their efficiency.

You dont learn how to cook by going to a neighbour's house, sit in their sofas, hand out a book to you on how to prepare and cook oshikundu. You learn how to produce oshikundu by witnessing your grandmother or those who are professional at the job brew the drink and attempting for yourself.

2) I dont think many of you know that the cheap chinese goods like radio were produced by students in china.
not even a person having an electronics degree from unam can create a simple radio like the ones we buy in this country from chinese students.

3) The imperialists are very clever, they know that if we change our education system to one which puts energy into manufacturing rather than being slaves, they will be powerless. As long as we import soap, water cleaining agents, oil we will always be on our knees to the imperialists. if they say jump we jump.

4) Look at iran and LIBYA they produce their own weapons, soaps, food now without depending on the american-british imperialistic. In zimbabwe, when the imperialists withdrew their economic trade, everyone died of hunger even under a leadership of a president who has 7 degrees and our leaders still fail to realize that they need to start being serious and stop us from being depended on the imperialists by changing our education system to start producing people who can produce soaps, defense technology and all that we need to survive. So that by that way if the imperialists say jump or i will not give you water purifying, we wont starve to death because we have everything we need to survive.

i agree with you whole-heartedly, that our education system is in a chaos, the blame should be put on the shoulders of the government, because it come up with the education policies which are not conducive to Namibia, have you read the whole ETSIP document?

ETSIP is nothing but an attempt by our not-serious leaders and neo imperialists to divert people's attention away.
WHY? over the past years parents and the voters have been questioning our leaders' capabilities to lead the nation when we had very high rate failures in education and crime increase amongst learners.

So ETSIP comes in to make parents think the government is doing something. So for the next coming years, we will still have high rates of failure why?

1) People learn by doing things. look at all taxi drivers, some of them dont know english and cant even read and memorize like i can. The NATIS book i memorized it like eating cakes, but for some its a struggle despite them knowing how to drive and understand the road signs. HUMAN BEINGS intellectually challenged or not learn by looking and attempting. even the most retarded person on earth can walk because they learned how to by looking at others do it.

2) Lastly, they can come up with a whole bunch of policies, workshops and commitees, but if the children and students dont get to learn how to produce soaps, food, medicine and engineer and fix cars PRACTICALLY, we will never solve the problem. Ican take you to the best person who knows how to explain how to drive a car in the world, but if you never even attempt to get into the car and feel what it feels like to drive, u will never and ever become a driver!!!

NAMPATRIOT, I agree with you 90% on you points in this topic. However, 10% disagree, because there are some of the thing that can only learnt theory here in Namibia due to the fact that material for practicing might not availabe or either very expensive to import, thus some practicality are impossible. E.g. talking under correction, it has been said that the Chevrolet (American import parts) that has been assembled here in Namibia, stoped because parties are very expensive, something like 40s thousand N$ for Def.

And also may be to avoid duplicating others products without their consent. Otherwise, where possible I full supporting the practical-based education mostly on the vocational and industrial based trade. Furthermore, I would encourage my fellow youth, to start doing reseachs on different available natural resource and see if we can produce something useful out of it. E.g. during July-September there, in the north we got some white cimba chips like thing on mopane tree leaves (Uutushi -in oshiwambo) some people it this thing. The use to be too much some year, if one can reseach this, there might something useful produced from these freely availble natural source i.e. even for feeding chikens as long as it modified in a certain way.

Peace and harmony for all.

What's funny is that the GRN never stand up on it's won and provide funds
to students to be engineers like how the GRN is dreaming. they just wait
for China, Russia and Cuba to provide scholarships, our governemnt is
actually a begger governrment, depending on loans and donations
when they have neough funds at home, the foreign companies are
looting out alot of billions, maybe if we can stop them then we can have
alot of money at home to train engineeers and scientists

but to be honest, the types of math and physics taught by Namibia's
secondary schools is not for engineers, that's way low level
an impoverished curriculum

@ Kachokwe

NO money is an old excuse, 30 million, 100 million huge fat salaries and benefits for non-performing people. Than why must UNAM teach people mechanical engineering if they have no to show how an engine works. We africans are very lazy when it comes to thinking and implementing. Whites build huge aircraft from earth scraps. a chinese person ones told me that the rocks we have in namibia could generate income.

We must stop blaming a lack of money. Namibia is very rich with a low population, where do our resource income go to?

True, We need to take the students to the worksites. When our war veterans were being trained, they didnt learn how to combat by reading books, they went into the field and were given the guns and weapons to train with.

While we calling each other RADOPA and SWAPO, the white and asian students are debating the type of fuel they must use to go to the second mission on the moon. While we are fighting NAMAS vs DAMARAS, KWANYAMAS VS KWAMBIS, the chinese imperialists are taking our lands and future.

Its SAD that resources pour out of africa to the imperialists to produce weapons which we use to kill ourslves with. We must start producing our own weapons and defense mechanism like the iranians did. If The imperialists russia, UK and USA decide to fire 5 nuclear bombs into africa, we are gone forever. We need to produce the technology to knock out those missiles before they reach our africa in case they attack.

I like the way you're thinking man, that we shouldnt be under dogs and be
concerned about what to only eat and deposit into our bank accounts
but we should focus on our security and be able to defend ourselves from
the imperialists. students need practice and they need funds, our brains
need fuel from the stomach but our stomachs are empty, out govt is failing us

Languages our already slowing us down, and now we have some types
of economical oppression hurting our visions

it's time to realize that our enemies are not the opposition parties and other tribes
our enemies are other contintents, the imperialists

give me your email address, the one you gave me is not going through

For the first time in a very long time I am seeing a positive criticism. Unlike other people who are just in the game to shift the same inherented weakness from one person to another, you outlined clearly where the problems lie and I agree with you 100% and I couldn’t have said it better. We need to debate and share ideas in an open spirit and clear intended plans like what you just did there. For my part as a youth who went through that slave producing Industry system that you just describe there, I will take the same approach and try to address this problem with relevant ministry and academic institutions. It is upon us youth of Africa to make sure that the really and true change that we want is addressed now then later through positive criticisms that anyone dumb or a genius would love to listen to and be willing to be party of the solution without tension created in doing so.

The elders already did their part and achieved their independence of Africa goal. The true development of Africa is squarely upon our shoulders and every small step we might take in a disciplined manner to address the really issue can make a huge difference. Our education system is producing merely office people and maintenance technicians who cannot make even the simplest tools we are using in our households daily.

Your motive is clear brother and any person from whatever profession, political ideology and a true African will listen to it without suspicion. This is the kind of politics the youth must engage in and not the one with a division factor.

I salute you!!!
super
